Napoli sit two points behind second-placed Manchester City at the moment, meaning that the Azzurri can make a giant step towards the knockout stages by winning this match.

However, that is easier said than done considering Manchester City’s impressive showings this season.

Napoli enter the crucial Champions League match in poor spirits, following yet another slip up on domestic stage, although Walter Mazzarri can certainly be happy with team’s performance against high-flying Lazio.

The Partenopei completely outclassed their opponents, but could only muster a goalless draw after missing a host of clear-cut chances.

The hosts have no choice but to try and record a win over Manchester City as that is the only result that gives them a realistic chance of making the next stage, with Unibet paying no less than 4.00 (3/1) on home win.

Camilo Zuniga misses out through suspension, whereas Marco Donadel and Miguel Britos remain sidelined.

The good news is that Walter Gargano and Goran Pandev returned into action after recovering from injury and they will be in contention.

Probable starting line-up (3-4-2-1): De Sanctis – Campagnaro, Cannavaro, Aronica – Maggio, Inler, Gargano, Dossena – Hamsik, Lavezzi – Cavani.

Manchester City continue with their amazing performances on both domestic and international stage, and they don’t look like stopping any time soon.

The Citizens kept their five-point advantage at the Premier League summit with a convincing win over high-flying Newcastle and are now ready to clinch their place in the Champions League knockout stages with a good result at San Paolo.

The victory over Newcastle was ninth in a row for Roberto Mancini’s side, who are now 2.02 (51/20) with 188BET to extend their winning run to ten games.

City have been scoring goals for fun of late, bagging at least three in every one of their last six games, so you should consider backing the visitors to score over 1.5 goals at odds of 2.00 (1/1) offered by Sportingbet.

Roberto Mancini was happy to see Samir Nasri back in action after the short spell on the sidelines, and now Owen Hargreaves is the only unavailable player.

The Italian manager is expected to continue rotating his squad, meaning that Edin Dzeko, David Silva, Aleksandar Kolarov and Gareth Barry should return to the side.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Hart – Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov – Y. Toure, De Jong, Barry – Aguero, Dzeko, Silva.
