Boosted by the 5-1 FA Cup win over arch rivals Tottenham, Chelsea go into the game high on confidence, but it is reigning championsBarcelona who are seen as the Champions League betting favourites to qualify for the final.

Chelsea have undergone a remarkable turnaround over the last couple of months and they are on the road to turn this season into a success after all.

Caretaker manager Roberto Di Matteo has got to be given credit for helping the players restore the lost confidence as well as for improving the atmosphere in the squad, which was at an all time low during Andre Villas-Boas’ reign.

As a result, the Blues returned in contention for a top 4 finish in the Premiership, they eliminated Napoli and Benfica to reach Champions League semi-finals, while the amazing victory over Tottenham at Wembley saw them qualify for the FA Cup final.

The 5-1 win over bitter rivals served as a great introduction to the all-important clash with Barcelona, and after the team won 9 of 12 games since Roberto Di Matteo took over, there could be some value in odds of 5.00 (4/1) offered by Ladbrokes on home win.

Branislav Ivanovic returns to the squad from domestic suspension, but Ryan Bertrand and Oriol Romeu are likely to miss out. David Luiz is a major doubt after picking up a hamstring injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-a): Cech – Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Cole – Mikel, Lampard – Ramires, Mata, Kalou – Torres.

Barcelona may have experienced some problems in the first part of the season, but the Catalans have since rediscovered their form and appear to be fully prepared for the season finale.

The run of 14 wins in last 15 games not only saw Barca qualify for the Champions League semis, but it also helped them close the gap behind Real in La Liga to just four points.

The Catalans will host their arch rivals in between the two games against Chelsea, meaning that next three games will be incredibly important for Pep Guardiola’s side.

The Spanish giants kept their spirits high with a hard-fought victory over Levante at the weekend and you should know Paddy Power has the best price on away win, with the Irish bookmaker paying 1.75 (3/4).

Gerard Pique has resumed full training after recovering from a thigh problem and he will be in contention, just like Seydou Keita and Ibrahim Afellay, who both missed the Levante clash.

Dani Alves and Andres Iniesta are set to return after they were rested at the weekend, but David Villa and Andreu Fontas remain long-term casualties.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Valdes – Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Puyol – Iniesta, Busquets, Xavi – Sanchez, Messi, Fabregas.
