Bayern Munich desperately need Champions League success after missing out on yet another league title, and the prospect of playing the final game at their Alianz Arena should give them enough motives to try and beat mighty Real.

Los Blancos managed to stabilize their domestic form and with Cristiano Ronaldo on fire at the moment, the visitors will fancy their chances against struggling Bayern.

Despite the heavy summer spending the Bavarians have once again failed to keep up with fierce rivals Borussia Dortmund on domestic stage and being eight points adrift of BVB with just three games to go, it is perfectly clear that they will not be winning the league title this year.

The only way to save this season is to win the Champions League title instead, but that will be no easy task even if the final game will be played in Munich.

Jupp Heynckes’ side first need to eliminate high-flying Real Madrid and after winning all six home games in the competition this term, Bayern are 2.70 (17/10) with BetVictor to continue the impressive run.

The experienced coach rested a host of first team regulars in the goalless draw with Mainz, meaning Lahm, Kroos, Gomez, Ribery and Luis Gustavo are all set to return, and the good news is that Breno and Van Buyten are the only unavailable players at the moment.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Neuer – Lahm, Boateng, Badstuber, Alaba – Schweinsteiger, Gustavo – Muller, Kroos, Ribery – Gomez.

Real Madrid have been going strong from the very start to the season, but now is the time for los Blancos to show they are rightly considered one of the best sides in Europe.

Next two games will be incredibly important for Jose Mourinho’s side seeing that they travel to Camp Nou after facing Bayern at Alianz Arena and good results in those two games would set the team on course to two major trophies.

Following the impressive 4-1 victory over Atletico Madrid, los Merengues had a lot of problems against weak Sporting Gijon at the weekend, which proves the players were already thinking about the Bayern clash.

Just like his counterpart, Jose Mourinho used the weekend’s game to rest a number of his starters, with Karim Benzema, Angel Di Maria, Fabio Coentrao and Xabi Alonso all set to return.

Seeing that Real have won all but one Champions League game this term, you should know 888sport pays 2.75 (7/4) on away win, whereas los Blancos are 1.50 (1/2) with bet365 to qualify for the final.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Casillas – Arbeloa, Ramos, Pepe, Coentrao – Alonso, Khedira – Di Maria, Kaka, Ronaldo – Benzema.
