Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane could be set to ship out a number of players to generate transfer funds for the club this summer, according to reports.

According to Diario AS, the Frenchman wants to generate approximately €100m in funds by selling up to four first-team players. Defender Achraf Hakimi has already departed in a big-money move that has seen him join Italian giants Inter Milan, with Javi Sanchez also agreeing to sign for Real Valladolid.

However, the sales do not end there for the recently-crowned La Liga champions. Borja Mayoral, Mariano Diaz, Oscar Rodriguez and Sergio Reguilon are all on the shortlist of players that could potentially depart the Santiago Bernabeu.

The latter two have spent the last season out on loan with Leganes and Sevilla respectively. Having impressed, it is likely that they will have plenty of suitors. Meanwhile, Mayoral spent the season with Levante but struggled to show his best form, only managing to hit eight goals in the league.

Elsewhere, Mariano Diaz, was barely afforded opportunities throughout the 2019/20 campaign, only making five La Liga appearances, none of them starts.

Before they think about the summer transfer window, Zidane and Real first have to navigate the remainder of the UEFA Champions League. Los Blancos sit at odds of 25/1 with Betfair to win the competition this year.
