Atletico vs GetafeGetafe face a mountain to climb following the 3-0 defeat in the first leg of their Copa del Rey Last 16 stage clash against Atletico Madrid, with los Colchoneros set out to finish the job at Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Getafe can be considered one of the most boring sides in La Liga, given that they tend to finish every league campaign in mid table mediocrity.

Los Azulones clearly have too much quality to go down, but not enough to enter the race for European places, so nobody is surprised to see them in 10th place in the standings.

Luis Garcia’s side, are, however, going through a very rough patch at the moment, having failed to win any of their last five fixtures, with back to back defeats to Valencia and Rayo Vallecano creating problems ahead of the return leg against Atletico.

With several star players still missing through various reasons, we see no value in betting on home win, even if the odds are 3.60 (13/5) at BetVictor.

Mehdi Lacen and Abdel Barrada are away on international duty, whereas Pedro Leon and Mane remain sidelined. Michel Madera misses out through suspension.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Moya – Valera, Lopo, Alexis, M. Torres – X. Torres, Borja – Lafita, Castro, Gavilan – Alvaro.

Atletico Madrid continue to impress on all fronts and they are in a good position to make this season even more successful than the previous one.

Los Colchoneros were very unfortunate not to beat Mallorca at the weekend, having completely outplayed their less illustrious opponents, but Diego Simeone made it clear he was very happy with his team’s showing.

One of the reasons why Atletico did not score more than one goal at Iberostar Estadi was that Falcao and Turan were both missing, so they are likely to perform much better now that the star duo is set to return.

With Getafe severely weakened in this clash, odds of 2.20 (6/5) offered at BetVictor on away win could be worth a shot.

After scoring three goals in the first leg, los Colchoneros are 2.20 (6/5) with Coral to score at least two at Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

With Falcao, Turan and Miranda all back from suspension, Diego Simeone has fully fit squad to choose from, and he is expected to field a very strong side in the local derby.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Courtois – Juanfran, Miranda, Diaz, Filipe Luis – Mario, Emre – Turan, Garcia, Rodriguez – Falcao.
