Celta vs LevanteBuoyed by the return of star player Nolito, the Sky Blues recorded back to back wins over Eibar and Getafe, and they now hope to make it three on the bounce.

High flying Villarreal cemented a place in the top 4 with a comfortable win over Levante and they now aim to place extra pressure on third-placed Real Madrid by defeating Celta as well.

Celta Vigo have been thoroughly impressive this season, seriously exceeding pre-season expectations, and they are on track to secure Europa League berth.

The Sky Blues would have probably mounted a top 4 challenge as well if it hand’t been for the injury to star forward Nolito that saw him miss more than two months of action.

And while Celta largely struggled in his absence, they managed to record a 3-2 win over Eibar on his return, before also defeating Getafe on the road.

But, with Athletic Bilbao breathing down their necks, the Sky Blues cannot afford to relax just yet and they will have to attempt to become stop in-form Villarreal in their tracks.

Nolito could return to the starting line-up after scoring the winner against Getafe, but Claudio Beauvue and Andreu Fontas continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Alvarez – Mallo, Cabral, Gomez, Jonny – Hernandez, Radoja – Orellana, Bongonda, Nolito – Aspas.

Villarreal have done even better than their next opponents this season as they not only cemented the final Champions League berth, but are also closing in on third-placed Real Madrid.

After los Blancos lost the local derby against Atletico, the Yellow Submarine trail the expensively assembled side mere two points, which is clearly a remarkable achievement.

And boasting an 11-point advantage over top 4 rivals Sevilla and Celta Vigo, Villarreal can play without any pressure at the moment, although that does not mean they can afford to lose the midweek game.

While impressing at their El Madrigal, the Yellow Submarine have largely struggled on the road, as they are winless in last five away games.

And having recorded four straight draws on the travels, bear in mind that they are 3.40 (12/5) with Paddy Power to continue the trend.

A number of first team regulars will be recalled after they were rested against Levante, with Roberto Soldado, Denis Suarez and Cedric Bakambu among them.

Goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo recently returned from a lengthy injury lay-off, but Jonathan dos Santos and Samu Garcia continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Areola – Mario, Musacchio, Ruiz, Jaume Costa – Samu Castillejo, Trigueros, Bruno, Denis Suarez – Soldado, Bakambu.
