Barcelona vs GetafeLa Liga leaders Barcelona host Getafe in the first leg of their Copa del Rey Last 16 stage clash, but the Catalans will have one eye on the league derby against Atletico Madrid.

Meanwhile, their opponents arrive at Camp Nou hoping to keep the tie alive ahead of the return leg at Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Barcelona have been pretty impressive since the arrival of Gerardo Martino, having climbed to the top of the league standings, while also topping their Champions League group.

And while the team are currently on a six-match winning run that was achieved even with Leo Messi on the sidelines, it is now that real challenges lie ahead for the Catalans.

With all-important league clash at Vicente Calderon scheduled for Saturday, everybody at the club is delighted to welcome Leo Messi and Neymar back to the side, and both players could play some part in the Cup match against Getafe.

Chances are that Gerardo Martino will rest most of his starters in the midweek game, but the Catalans remain 1.14 (1/7) favourites to win the first leg.

Meanwhile, they are 1.91 (10/11) with Ladbrokes to win to nil and keep the third straight clean sheet at Camp Nou.

Lionel Messi has resumed full training, but he is unlikely to start, whereas Sergio Busquets returns from suspension.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Pinto – Montoya, Mascherano, Puyol, Adriano – Roberto, Busquets, Iniesta – Tello, Neymar, Pedro.

Getafe have become one of league’s most boring sides seeing as how they always seem to achieve a mid table finish, although the team need to be congratulated for incredible consistency they are showing season after season.

Midway through the current campaign, los Azulones sit in ninth place, although they seem to have suffered a dip in form of late.

Getafe have now lost three successive league games, with one of those defeats coming exactly against the Catalans.

Luis Garcia’s side then squandered a two-goal lead to lose the game 5-2, and they will certainly be looking to show an improvement at Camp Nou.

The boss has no fresh selection worries to report, but chances are that he will make a couple of changes to his starting line-up.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Codina – Valera, Rafa, Lopez, Escudero – Borja, Gavilan, Michel – Lafita, Adrian, Leon.
