Mesut Ozil has raved about Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka and believes that the England international has a bright future ahead of him.

Saka has established himself as a key figure for Arsenal and was also part of the England squad that reached the Euro 2020 final this summer.

The 19-year-old is a versatile footballer who can play as a winger, full-back or midfielder.

The Arsenal no.7 made 30 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Mikel Arteta’s side last season.

Saka scored five goals and gave three assists in those games.

The attacker also scored two goals and gave three assists in nine Europa League matches for Arsenal last season.

Former Arsenal attacking midfielder Ozil, now on the books of Turkish giants Fenerbahce, rates Saka highly.

Ozil told Sky Sports about Saka: “Bukayo is blessed with a talent that not many have. If he remains as humble and determined as he already is, I am a hundred per cent convinced that he has a great future ahead of him and can become a great player.

“He’s really a great talent, and I’m sure that there are going to be many more big matches for the English national team for him in the future.”

Arsenal can be backed at 7/2 on Betfair to finish in the top four of the Premier League table next season.
