Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has said that he is disappointed at his side’s defeat to Leeds United away from home at Elland Road in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of Leeds this past weekend.

Brenden Aaronson, Rodrigo and Jack Harrison scored the goals for the West Yorkshire club.

Jorginho told Chelsea’s official website: “A really bad day. We started well in the first 15 or 20 minutes, then we got a bit frustrated from them scoring and we started doing stuff we weren’t supposed to.

“We got stuck. We conceded and then we lost our heads, which cannot happen here. We got punished.

“We knew it was coming [Leeds’ intensity and high press]. We were creating a lot and following the plan, at the end we were not finishing the plan and then we started doing different stuff.

“We were playing some balls we don’t usually. If we had kept following the pan, and work our way out of pressure, maybe it would be a different story.”

Chelsea will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Leicester City at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League.

The Blues can be backed at 13/2 on Betfair to win the game against Leicester 2-1.
