Napoli vs InterA morale-boosting win is exactly what Napoli need after the Champions League heartbreak, and this particular one would see them cement the third place in the standings.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan aim to extend their unbeaten run to ten games and further improve their chances of achieving a top 3 finish.

Napoli have been going strong from the start to the season, with Rafael Benitez doing really well to rebuild the squad following some major changes in the summer.

However, the Azzurri suffered a serious dip in form midway through October, with the run of three straight defeats threatening to ruin their season.

The team have since showed massive improvement, defeating Lazio away before narrowly missing out on a victory against Udinese.

Napoli also managed to record a 2-0 triumph over Arsenal in their final group game in the Champions League, but not even 12 points from 6 fixtures was enough for them to go through.

Rafael Benitez’s side will, nonetheless, attempt to continue the bright run of results and they are 1.95 (19/20) favourites to see off Inter Milan.

The Spanish coach is hoping Pepe Reina, Valon Behrami and Goran Pandev will be fit to play, but Marek Hamsik, Giandomenico Mesto and Camilo Zuniga continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Reina – Maggio, Albiol, Britos, Reveillere – Dzemaili, Inler – Callejon, Merten, Insigne – Higuain.

Inter Milan, too, have impressed this season, climbing to fourth in the league standings in spite of the serious problems they experienced during the summer.

Club’s decision to appoint former Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri proved spot on as the experienced manager has done well to get the maximum out of what is a pretty average squad.

Three straight draws in the league are enough to suggest that team’s form is on a downtrend, and that could prove to be a problem with games against Napoli, Milan and Lazio next.

However, having scored in each of their last nine games in all competitions, the Nerazzurri are 1.40 (2/5) to continue the streak at Stadio San Paolo.

Walter Mazzarri has received some good news ahead of the trip to Naples, with Diego Milito, Fredy Guarin, Mauro Icardi and Walter Samuel all resuming full training.

Meanwhile, Zdravko Kuzmanovic, McDonald Mariga and Cristian Chivu are still few weeks away from making a return into action.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-1-1): Handanovic – Campagnaro, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus – Jonathan, Kovacic, Cambiasso, Alvarez, Nagatomo – Guarin – Palacio.
