Comfortable win over Udinese helped Lazio get back in the race for a top 3 finish and the Biancocelesti aim to extend the good run of results when they take on Parma.

Il Ducali continue to impress, with home win over title contenders Inter helping them climb to eighth in the Serie A standings.

Following a bright start to the season, Lazio went through a rough patch at the end of October, picking up just one point from three league games in the process.

The Biancocelesti, nonetheless, quickly returned to winning ways, impressing in both Europa League and Serie A.

While four points from matches against Panathinaikos and Tottenham saw them ensure their place in the knockout stages, Lazio significantly improved their league position with seven points from last three games.

Home wins over Roma and Udinese, as well as an away draw against Juventus, acted as a huge confidence boost, so no wonder Lazio are now 1.80 (4/5) favourites with BetFred to see off Parma.

Hernanes returns to the starting line-up after recovering from injury, but Federico Marchetti and Abdoulay Konko are injury doubts.

Christian Brocchi, Andre Dias, Mauro Zarate and Tommaso Rocchi remain long-term casualties.

Probable starting line-up (4-1-4-1): Marchetti – Cavanda, Biava, Ciani, Radu – Ledesma – Candreva, Hernanes, Gonzalez, Mauri – Klose.

Together with Fiorentina, Parma are the biggest overachievers this season, not that their last season’s showings did not hint something similar would happen.

With some shrewd transfer dealings further reinforcing the squad without upsetting the balance of the side, il Ducali started the league campaign strongly and there are no signs of slowing down.

Narrow victory over Inter proved Ennio Tardini is slowly becoming a real fortress, although Roberto Donadoni’s side will need to improve on the travels if they want to realize their full potential.

Having picked up just 5 points from 7 away games, Parma don’t have much to hope for ahead of the trip to Olimpico, although after scoring seven goals in the process, il Ducali can be trusted to continue the good scoring run in Rome.

While away win pays 5.20 (21/5) at BetVictor, Parma are 1.53 (8/15) with Coral to score at Olimpico.

Darlon Pabon is unavailable for selection due to personal problems, while Daniele Galloppa remains a long-term worry.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Mirante – Rosi, Zaccardo, Paletta, Gobbi – Marchionni, Valdes, Parolo – Biabiany, Amauri, Sansone.
