Inter vs Napoli 2-4Inter Milan face an uphill struggle in an attempt to secure the final Champions League berth, and any result but a win over Napoli would all but end their top 3 hopes.

The Azzurri, too, need all three points as they aim to catch Juventus at the top, which is enough to suggest we are going to see a cracking encounter at Giuseppe Meazza.

Inter Milan enjoyed a tremendous start to the Serie A campaign and at one point it looked as though they might be able to mount a serious title challenge.

However, the Nerazzurri could not keep up with the likes of Juventus and Napoli, while also seeing AS Roma leapfrog them in the race for the third place in the standings.

Inter have been blowing hot and cold of late, holding the Giallorossi to a 1-1 draw at Stadio Olimpico, only to suffer a home loss to Torino.

The narrow away win over Frosinone kept their Champions League hopes alive, but with AS Roma now sit points in front, the Nerazzurri face a must-win game against Napoli.

Having won four straight home games before said defeat to Torino, Inter can be backed at 3.00 (2/1) to defeat the Azzurri and return to the right track.

Joao Miranda and Yuto Nagatomo return to the side, with Gary Medel also set to be recalled to the starting line-up for the Napoli game.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Handanovic – D’Ambrosio, Miranda, Murillo, Nagatomo – Kondogbia, Medel, Brozovic – Perisic, Icardi, Palacio.

Napoli have been thoroughly impressive throughout the season, but they just could not keep the rich vein of form going into the final stretch.

Chances are that the last-gasp defeat to title rivals Juventus in Turin will prove decisive, even if the Azzurri now trail the Bianconeri six points.

Napoli were also eliminated from Europa League at the hands of Villarreal, meaning there is plenty of reason for concern ahead of the new campaign.

Nonetheless, the Azzurri seem ready for the final push and an assault on the league trophy and they are aware that the title bid will be effectively over unless they can defeat Inter.

Napoli have been made 2.62 (13/8) favourites to emerge victorious, but it is important to note that top scorer Gonzalo Higuain misses out through suspension.

Manolo Gabbiadini is expected to deputise for El Pipita, whereas Allan should be preferred to David Lopez in the middle of the park.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Reina – Hysaj, Albiol, Koulibaly, Ghoulam – Allan, Jorginho, Hamsik – Callejon, Gabbiadini, Insigne.
