Bologna vs InterOn the back of impressive Serie A triumphs at the weekend, Inter and Bologna are now set to battle each other for one place in Coppa Italia semi-finals.

Inter continue to exceed expectations despite all the problems they have faced this season, as the team are doing remarkably well on all three fronts.

While securing their place in Europa League knockout stages, the Neroazzurri climbed to fourth in Serie A and are now just two points off the Champions League places.

After overcoming a serious selection crisis to beat Pescara in the league, Andrea Stramaccioni’s side have got a very good opportunity to make it to Coppa Italia semis by defeating Bologna at Giuseppe Meazza.

With the talented boss tipped to field a very strong side on Tuesday night, Inter look a good bet to win this game, with William Hill paying 1.53 (8/15) on home win.

Diego Milito is back to the starting line-up after recovering from injury and the experienced striker is 1.83 (5/6) at bet365 to mark his return with a goal.

Juan Jesus and Andrea Ranocchia return from suspension, while Jonathan, Mudingayi and Rocchi could all start.

Probable starting line-up (3-4-1-2): Belec – Ranocchia, Chivu, Juan Jesus – Jonathan, Zanetti, Mudingayi, Pereira – Guarin – Milito, Rocchi.

With so many changes to the playing squad during the summer, Bologna were always going to need some time to start producing what is expected of them, so nobody was really surprised by team’s poor start to the league campaign.

However, as new players Gilardino, Guarente and Gabbiadini started getting used to new surroundings, Felsinei began to raise their game and notched up a nice string of results in November and December.

Bologna slipped into the danger zone as they recorded back to back defeats to Parma and Genoa, but weekend’s 4-0 win over Chievo took a huge weight off their shoulders.

Just as he did in previous Coppa Italia fixtures, boss Stefano Pioli is set to rest almost all his starters, so you might want to consider backing Inter to win to nil at odds of 2.50 (3/2) offered at Coral.

Tiberio Guarente and Archimede Morleo return from suspension, but Cesare Natali remains sidelined through injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Stojanovic – Sorensen, Radakovic, Carvalho, Abero – Guarente, Pazienza – Pasquato, Riverola, Morleo – Acquafresca.
