Wolfsburg vs GladbachBoth of these sides could still secure Champions League qualification and that should be enough incentive to give their best at Volkswagen Arena.

Wolfsburg will finish in top 4 if they win this match and Bayer Leverkusen fail to beat Werder Bremen, whereas Borussia need three points and die Werkself to lose in order to finish fourth.

The Wolves have come a long way since Dieter Hecking took over the reigns in December 2012 and the current season has been one of the most successful ones in recent years.

European qualification is already in the bag, but the impressive campaign would get even better if Wolfsburg manage to pip Bayer Leverkusen to a top 4 finish.

The Wolves missed several good opportunities to improve their Champions League hopes, but away victories over Hamburg and Stuttgart ensured they remain in the hunt.

And even with much depending on Leverkusen’s result against Werder, Wolfsburg will be looking to keep their end of the bargain and sign off with a triumph over Borussia.

The 10-3-3 home record would suggest Dieter Hecking’s men are the favourites here, and BetVictor seem to agree, offering 1.87 (20/23) on home win.

While Junior Malanda and Bas Dost remain on the sidelines, Slobodan Medojevic is likely to be recalled with Jan Polak set to make way.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Benaglio – Trasch, Knoche, Naldo, Rodriguez – Medojevic, Gustavo – de Bruyne, Arnold, Perisic – Olic.

Borussia M’gladbach are another side that have been making steady progress of late and they did well to establish themselves as a genuine top 6 side.

Another Europa League berth is secured, but it appears die Fohlen won’t be playing Champions League football next term regardless of what happens at Volkswagen Arena.

Borussia will finish in top 4 if they defeat Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen lose the home game to Werder Bremen, but such a scenario seems unlikely.

Lucien Favre’s side have seriously raised their form over the last couple of months, winning six of last nine games and they are 4.20 (16/5) to win the final game of the season.

The boss is unlikely to make any changes to his starting line-up following the 3-1 triumph over Mainz, and he again has fully fit squad to choose from.

Borussia haven’t been too impressive on the road this season, but they did win three of last five league matches on the travels.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): ter Stegen – Korb, Jantschke, Stranzl, Dominguez – Kramer, Nordtveit – Herrmann, Raffael, Arango – Kruse.
