Mark van Bommel has denied the claims he holds the grudge against Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the pair clashed quite a few times in the past.
The Dutch international, who’s just joined Ibra at Milan, says he is now friends with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
“We are both players of great character and a great desire to win. We have always fought on the pitch but now everything is ok, we are friends.”
He also added he was delighted to have joined a club like Milan.
“I chose a big club that has a great history with Dutch players. The situation at Bayern had changed, but I don’t want to talk about that now.”
Van Bommel was handed a debut in the Coppa Italia game against Sampdoria and he is expected to start against Catania on Saturday night.
The Dutch midfielder is 8.00 (7/1) to score against Catania, while his new friend Ibrahimovic is 1.83 (5/6) at Bet365 to score at anytime.
