Following the impressive win over Moldova, Sweden can virtually secure the second place in the standings with a win over Finland, whereas the visitors have got to win this game in order to keep their qualifying hopes alive.

Sweden have been showing a lot of promise ever since they failed to qualify for the World Cup in South Africa and they look determined not to miss out on another big competition.

Apart from the 4:1 defeat to mighty Netherlands, Eric Hamren’s side have won all other group games, including the one against Moldova few days ago.

Sweden ran out easy winners, thus closing the gap behind Netherlands to six points and they can now further close the gap by beating neighbours Finland. Home win pays 1.30 (3/10) at Bodog.

With no fresh injuries to report, Eric Hamren is expected to field the same side that started the Moldova game.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Isaksson – Lustig, Mellberg, Majstorovic, Wendt – Larsson, Svensson, Kallstrom, Hysen – Toivonen, Elmander.

Having lost their first three Euro 2012 qualifiers to Moldova, Netherlands and Hungary, Finland will clearly need a miracle if they are to qualify for the final tournament.

Mixu Paatelainen’s side did record a double victory over San Marino, but having largely struggled against the minnows few days ago, they will need to show a massive improvement if they are to get something from this match.

The boss decided to leave out 40-year-old Jari Litmanen from the squad, while Teemu Tainio has retired from international football.

Hannover’s Mikael Forssell scored the only game in the narrow win over San Marino and he is now 5.00 (4/1) with Paddy Power to score against Sweden as well.

Probable starting line-up (4-5-1): Hradecky – Lampi, Pasanen, Moisander, Raitala – Vayrynen, Eremenko, Heikkinen, Hamalainen, Hetemaj – Forsell.
