Stuttgart vs Borussia M'gladbachHaving finally ended a four-match winless run, Stuttgart will attempt to further close the gap behind European positions by defeating Borussia M’gladbach, a team that are searching for their fourth successive victory.

The Swabians had a pretty disappointing start to the season, crashing out of Europe early on while also losing first three Bundesliga fixtures.

Boss Bruno Labbadia paid the price for the dismal results, and that proved to be a good decision as the team have shown a considerable improvement under Thomas Schneider.

The good run came to an abrupt end as Stuttgart suffered a 6-1 defeat in Dortmund, but they did really well to return to the right track with a 3-1 away triumph over Freiburg.

And with the team looking quite confident after the international break, you should know home win pays 2.40 (7/5) at Paddy Power.

Stuttgart may be unbeaten in last five matches at Mercedes-Benz Arena, but it is important to note the 6-2 triumph over Hoffenheim is their only win in seven matches on home soil this term.

Antonio Rudiger is set to return from suspension, but Konstantin Rausch is doubtful and Arthur Boka, Cacau and Daniel Didavi continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Ulreich – Schwaab, Rudiger, Niedermeier, Sakai – Kvist, Gentner – Leitner, Maxim, Werner – Ibisevic.

Following several very successful years, Borussia M’gladbach couldn’t quite live up to their potential last term, finishing the league campaign in eighth place, albeit just four points behind European positions.

With no major changes to the playing squad, Lucian Favre’s side enjoyed a decent start to the season, impressing at home but largely struggling on the road.

And while the team have won all six home matches, scoring 20 and conceding mere 4 goals in the process, they could only pick up one point from first five games on the road.

Nevertheless, the 2-0 away triumph over Hamburg has the potential to kick-start their season, and after winning their last three fixtures, Borussia currently sit in fourth place in the standings.

With that in mind, there may be some value in odds of 3.10 (21/10) offered on away win, especially since Stuttgart are not exactly a force to be reckoned with at home.

Lucien Favre will have Roel Brouwers and Havard Nordtveit back in contention, but centre-back Alvaro Dominguez remains out with a broken collarbone.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): ter Stegen – Korb, Jantschke, Stranzl, Wendt – Kramer, Xhaka – Herrmann, Raphael, Arango – Kruse.
