Norwegian high-flyers Stromsgodset did well to earn a narrow defeat at Vicente Calderon and they now have a decent chance to produce a major upset and eliminate Atletico Madrid.

Taking their awful away record into account, the Norwegians were not given big chances in the first leg, and while they were two goals down going into the final stage of the game, Oyvind Storflor scored a valuable goal ten minutes before time to make it 2:1.

Meanwhile, Godset have continued with impressive performances at home, beating Lillestrom 3:1 in Norwegian Eliteserien, so the players will be brimming with confidence before the clash with Atletico at the sold out Marienlyst Stadion.

Seeing that the game will be played on artificial pitch and bearing in mind Stromsgodset’s 8-1-1 home record this season, odds of 6.00 (5/1) offered on home win by Victor Chandler are definitely worth a shot.

Coach Ronny Deila has no fresh injury worries and he is likely to field the same team that started the Lillestrom game.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Kwarasey – Andersen, Aaas, Madsen, Vilsvik – Stroflor, Sankoh, Abu – Konradsen, Kamara, Berget.

Atletico Madrid have started this season early because of the Europa League commitments, so it is no wonder that the squad have yet to be completed.

Los Colchoneros are still looking to find a replacement for Kun Aguero, although new signing from Deportivo, Adrian Lopez is already proving to be a great addition to the squad.

Despite being far away from the desired form, Atletico managed to outplay Stromsgodset in the first leg and to create a good advantage thanks to Jose Reyes, although that late conceded goal meant that los Rojiblancos were in for a difficult match in the return leg.

There are no doubts that Atletico will be looking to record another morale boosting win and with Stromsgodset likely to adopt attacking approach as well, you should know that both teams to score pays 1.80 (4/5) at Paddy Power.

Boss Gregorio Manzano faces a real selection headache as Mario Suarez, Diego Costa, Diego Godin, Sergio Asenjo, Elias and Miranda are all unavailable.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Joel – Silvio, Perea, Dominguez, Filipe Luis – Juanfran, Gabi, Tiago, Reyes – Forlan, Adrian.
