World champions Spain have been placed into a pretty easy group for the Euro 2012 qualifiers and not even a game against Czech Republic should give them much to worry about.

La Furia Roja easily won their first three group games, and not even the 4:0 friendly defeat to Portugal could destabilize Vincent Del Bosque’s side.

The experienced coach faces some problems before the Czech Republic game after Cesc Fabregas, Carles Puyol and Pedro Rodriguez have withdrawn from the squad, with Juan Manuel Mata, Andoni Iraola and Javi Martinez earning call-ups.

Spain Squad:

Goalkeepers: Iker Casillas (Real Madrid CF), José Reina (Liverpool FC), Víctor Valdés (FC Barcelona).

Defenders: Álvaro Arbeloa (Real Madrid CF), Raúl Albiol (Real Madrid CF), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid CF), Gerard Piqué (FC Barcelona), Carlos Marchena (Villarreal CF), Joan Capdevila (Villarreal CF), Andoni Iraola (Athletic Club).

Midfielders: Xabi Alonso (Real Madrid CF), Sergio Busquets (FC Barcelona), Santi Cazorla (Villarreal CF), Andrés Iniesta (FC Barcelona), Xavi Hernández (FC Barcelona), Javi Martínez (Athletic Club), David Silva (Manchester City FC), Jesús Navas (Sevilla FC), Juan Mata (Valencia CF).

Forwards: David Villa (FC Barcelona), Fernando Llorente (Athletic Club), Fernando Torres (Chelsea FC).

Czech Republic started the qualifying campaign with a home defeat to Lithuania, but they showed some improvement to beat Scotland and Liechtenstein, and as it now seems, they will be fighting with Scotland and Lithuania for the second place in the group.

Following several disappointing campaigns, coach Michal Bilek rejuvenated the squad, believing a fresh blood would help his side return to the right track.

Milan Baros returns to the side after missing the last two qualifiers, while Lazio forward Libor Kozak is set to be handed a debut.

Czech Republic squad:

Goalkeepers: Petr Čech (Chelsea FC), Jan Laštůvka (FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk), Tomáš Vaclík (FC Viktoria Žižkov).

Defenders: Zdeněk Pospěch (FC Kobenhavn), Roman Hubník (Hertha BSC Berlin), Michal Kadlec (Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Ondřej Kušnír (AC Sparta Praha), Jan Rajnoch (MKE Ankaragücü), Daniel Pudil (KRC Genk), Tomáš Sivok (Beşiktaş JK).

Midfielders: Tomáš Rosický (Arsenal FC), Tomáš Hübschman (FC Shakhtar Donetsk), Jan Morávek (1. FC Kaiserslautern), Jaroslav Plašil (FC Girondins de Bordeaux), Jan Polák (VfL Wolfsburg), Jan Rezek (FC Viktoria Plzeň).

Forwards: Milan Baroš (Galatasaray AŞ), Tomáš Necid (PFC CSKA Moskva), Václav Kadlec (AC Sparta Praha), David Lafata (FK Jablonec), Adam Hloušek (1. FC Kaiserslautern), Libor Kozák (S.S. Lazio).

Spain are clearly hot favourites to win this one and odds of 1.25 (1/4) offered on home win by Bodog are the perfect proof. The Czechs are 4.00 (3/1) at Paddy Power not to lose the game.
