Netherlands vs MexicoBruno Martins Indi and Steven Berghuis were both drafted into the Netherlands squad after Terence Kongolo was forced to withdraw.

The Feyenoord full-back had suffered a hamstring injury at the weekend and it was confirmed that he would miss the friendly clash against Belgium and 2018 World Cup qualifier vs Luxembourg.

Spartak Moscow star Quincy Promes is also out injured, but Arjen Robben returns after a year-long absence due to numerous injury problems.

Sporting CP full-back Marvin Zeegelaar gets his first call-up, with Manchester United duo Daley Blind and Memphis Depay also on the roster.

Netherlands boss Danny Blind has made it clear that Arjen Robben will only be used for the Luxembourg game, but it will be the friendly against neighbours Belgium that is likely to generate plenty of attention.

Oranje are winless in last six meetings with their arch rivals (D4 L2) and they can be backed at 2.90 (19/10) to end the barren run on Wednesday evening.
