Serie A strugglers Lecce are hoping to take advantage of Roma’s poor form and record what would be an invaluable win for the hosts.

After beating Juventus at home, Gigi De Canio’s side salvaged a draw against Brescia after coming from two goals behind and the hosts enter this match full of confidence.

Gigi De Canio faces a real selection headache with David Di Michele, Edward Ofere, Nenad Tomovic, Stefano Ferrario and Alberto Giuliatto all unavailable, especially as most of the absentees are considered first team regulars.

Roma showed some improvement under Vincenzo Montella, having beaten Bologna away in his first game in charge, but they then missed a great chance to make it two in a row.

The Giallorossi couldn’t hold on to their two-goal lead against Parma and ended up taking just one point from the game.

David Pizarro will keep his place in the centre of the park after returning from injury, but Francesco Totti, Aleandro Rosi and Adriano are unavailable for this clash.

Roma are favourites to beat injury-plagued Lecce with Victor Chandler paying 2.00 (1/1) on away win, whereas the Via Del Mare outfit are 4.00 (3/1) to produce an upset and take all three points.
