Fiorentina vs Milan preview

Fiorentina are safely tucked away in the middle of the Serie A standings, but Viola are eager to improve their league position as much as possible in the closing stages of the league campaign.

Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side extended their unbeaten run to six games as they brought one point from Cesena, but that record will be put to the test against Milan.

Adrian Mutu is set to miss out through suspension, while Valon Behrami, Stevan Jovetic and Sebastien Frey are not yet ready to return.

Seeing that Fiorentina have lost just one of their last thirteen home games, maybe you should consider backing them not to lose at odds of 1.83 (5/6) offered by Bodog.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-1-1): Boruc – Comotto, Gamberini, Natali, Pasqual – Donadel, Montolivo, Marchionni, Vargas – Santana – Gilardino.

Milan made a giant step towards the Serie A title as they hammered local rivals Inter last weekend, and they are now hot favourites to win the coveted title.

Nonetheless, with seven games to go, Milan are just three points clear of Napoli, meaning they cannot afford to relax just yet, especially with very motivated Fiorentina on the other side of the pitch.

Boss Maxi Allegri has received a welcoming boost as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to return following the three-match ban, but now Cassano is suspended.

Genaro Gattuso is a doubt, while Massimo Ambrosini, Daniele Bonera, Marek Jankulovski and Philippo Inzaghi remain sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Abiati – Abate, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta – Van Bommel, Flamini, Seedorf – Boateng – Ibrahimovic, Pato.

Milan are 1.91 (10/11) to win the game at William Hill, whereas the Rossoneri are 1.48 (12/25) at Betfair to lift the league title.
