Fiorentina vs Inter preview

Fiorentina have finally started to play to their potential, with the 4:2 victory over Palermo definitely a highlight of their campaign.

Viola now hope to produce another upset as they prepare to host champions Inter, with odds on home win no less than 3.30 (23/10) at Victor Chandler.

Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is unlikely to make changes to the side that beat Palermo, meaning Santana, Mutu and Gilardino will start up front.

Inter, on the other hand, suffered a big blow to their title aspirations as they were beaten by Juventus in Derby d’Italia, so they simply have got to try and win this game.

Coach Leonardo still has major selection worries as Thiago Motta and Cristian Chivu are banned for this clash, whereas Samuel, Stankovic, Mariga, Milito and Lucio remain sidelined.

After Samuel Eto’o missed several sitters against Juventus, the Cameroonian could come good in this match, with odds of 2.70 (17/10) offered by Paddy Power on Eto’o to score anytime too good to pass.
