Europa League Betting: The best value in midweek matches

June and July are absolutely the worst months for football fans everywhere, especially the ones who like to take a bet every once in a while.

The UEFA Under-21 European Championship in Denmark gave us all something to feel good about and now Copa America is also on agenda, but there is a good chance that football punters from all over the world were delighted to see the Europa League quals start last midweek.

Tipped by many as one of the easiest events to make money on, Europa League has occupied our attention as well. We have found a couple of bets that represent the best value for money, so here we go.

Ulisses (Armenia) vs Ferencvaros (Hungary)

The third-placed side from Hungary ran out easy winners in the first leg, having hammered Ulisses 3:0 and everything suggests they will record another win. Ulisses are in the midst of their domestic season but that is unlikely to help them get something from this game. Sportingbet pays 1.80 (4/5) on away win.

Nomme Kalju (Estonia) vs Honka (Finland)

A very talented side from Finland largely dominated the first leg, but they were unlucky not to score from 15 goal-bound attempts. The Estonian minnows, on the other hand, only had two shots on goal, proving they are nowhere near the required quality to eliminate Honka. Away win pays 1.91 (10/11) with Stan James.

Olimpija (Slovenia) vs Siroki Brijeg (Bosnia-Hercegovina)

The teams were very evenly matched in the first leg in Bosnia, but after Siroki Brijeg failed to create an advantage they now face a very difficult task in Slovenia. Olimpija have significantly reinforced the squad of late and seeing they are celebrating 100 years of the club this season, we can safely say they have big ambitions in Europe. Olimpija are 1.67 (2/3) with 888Sport to win the game.

Glentoran (Northern Ireland) vs Renova (FYR Macedonia)

Glentoran fought valiantly in the first leg, having had a man sent off after just 13 minutes of the game, when the referee wrongfully awarded the hosts a penalty and showed Jamie McGovern the red card. The Northern Irish were, nevertheless, close to earning a draw, but they conceded a goal in the dying moments of the match.

However, they now have a great chance against weak Renova, the team who are now playing with youngsters after all key players from last season left this summer. There is a great value in backing Glentoran at odds of 2.75 (7/4) offered by Bodog.
