Inter striker Samuel Eto’s has caused a big stir among Premier League clubs by admitting he could leave the Neroazzurri for England.

The Cameroonian striker has been in remarkable form last season, scoring 34 goals in 49 games, but has now revealed failed to pledge his future to Inter.

“It is true that I have a few offers,” Eto’o was quoted as saying. “I have a month off now to evaluate all of them and decide what to do.

“I’m 30, I’m close to my final big contract and we’ll have to see whether I should stay or go.

“My eventual departure is not to try to earn €100,000 or €200,000 more, what matters in my career is being happy in a city, playing for a big club where I can enjoy myself.”

The striker is reportedly targeted by a number of Premiership clubs and he admits he is thinking about a move to England.

“It’s an idea that I have had in my head for a while, it all depends on finding the right club. I’ve had offers from good teams.”

Inter are currently 2.40 (7/5) with Sportingbet to win Serie A next season, although the odds will increase considerably if Eto’o indeed leaves the club. Defending champions Milan are odds on favourites, being priced at 2.20 (6/5).
