Following their impressive victory at Alianz Arena, Borussia have virtually secured the Bundesliga title, but that doesn’t mean they will take this game lightly.

Having won just one of their last three home games, BVB will be looking to rediscover their home form against high-flying Koln, with home win paying just 1.33 (1/3) at William Hill.

Keeper Roman Weidenfeller could return just one week after suffering a knee injury, although it remains to be seen whether he will make the cut.

“A strained ligament is very painful thing and doesn’t heal within three or four days,” Weidenfeller told club’s official website.

“Let’s see how the knee will respond to stress. So far it’s looking pretty good.”

Kuba Blaszczykowski came through the Bayern game unscathed and he is set to play some part against Koln as well, but Shinji Kagawa, Mohamed Zidan and Patrick Owomoyela are not yet ready to return.

Confidence is high at Koln after the team picked up 10 points from last four games, with boss Frank Schaefer optimistic before the trip to Signal Iduna Park.

“We are going to Dortmund knowing that we have taken ten points from last four games. Our goal is to maintain this positive mood after the weekend,” Schaefer told club’s official website.

”We intend to present ourselves with a good and spirited performance and hope to get rewarded for that.”

Slawomir Peszko has yet to resume training following a muscle injury, while Pedro Geromel, Christopher Schorch, Adam Matuszczyk and Kevin McKenna remain sidelined. Miso Brecko and Petit return to the side.
