Mighty Barcelona could face a tough task against high-flying Sevilla, in a match where both sides will be looking to keep their unbeaten record intact.

Barcelona experienced certain problems at the start to the season, with three 2:2 draws in four games in September seen as a major blow, but apart from those three matches the Catalans have been absolutely relentless in every other clash.

Pep Guardiola’s side have won all five games following the away draw with Valencia, and what is even more impressive is that the team haven’t conceded a single goal during that period.

With home win paying just 1.18 (9/50) at Ladbrokes, you would be better off backing Barcelona to win to nil at odds of 2.00 (1/1) offered at Paddy Power.

Midfielder Cesc Fabregas has resumed training after recovering from a hamstring injury and will be in contention for the Sevilla game, but Alexis Sanchez and Gerard Pique are still a couple of weeks away from making their return.

After scoring 10 goals in just 7 La Liga games this season, Lionel Messi is 2.00 (1/1) with 188BET to finish as top goalscorer in La Liga.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Valdes – Dani Alves, Puyol, Abidal, Maxwell – Iniesta, Busquets, Xavi – Pedro, Messi, Villa.

Sevilla are seen as a surprise package of the season as nobody expected los Rojiblancos to immediately hit the ground running after making important squad changes in the summer.

Piotr Trochowski, Emir Spahic and Manu Del Moral have already proved their credentials at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, with their solid performances one of the reasons for Sevilla’s high league position.

Los Rojiblancos sit just two points behind Barcelona after going seven games without a defeat and they are now 2.20 (6/5) with 888Sport to achieve a top 4 finish.

Coach Marcelino Garcia Toral received some bad news this week as both Alvaro Negredo and Diego Perotti have been ruled out of this clash, whereas Emir Spahic is suspended.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Varas – Caceres, Escude, Fazio, Navarro – Rakitic, Medel – Navas, Manu, Trochowski – Kanoute.
