Fifth-placed Athletic Bilbao welcome Champions League hopefuls Valencia in what should be an enthralling encounter at the Cathedral.

Los Leones kept their high position in the overall standings despite narrow away defeats to Mallorca and Barcelona, and they now have a good chance to continue their amazing home run and cement the fifth place in the standings.

Having won 9 out of 12 home games as well as the last three at San Mames, Athletic will fancy their chances against Valencia, with home win paying 2.40 (7/5) at William Hill.

David Lopez and Iker Muniain return to the starting line-up after coming on from the bench against Barcelona, with Oscar de Marcos set to replace suspended Iraola.

Gaizka Toquero is set to be restored to the starting line-up, while Mikel San Jose and Borja Ekiza start in the heart of defence, with Fernando Amorebieta dropping to the bench.

Valencia could make a giant step towards the Champions League qualification by winning this game, with los Che looking to continue the good run of results.

Unai Emery’s side are looking to return to winning ways following home draws against Schalke and Sporting Gijon, and it is worth noting that Valencia brought no less than 10 points from last 4 away games.

Defender Miguel has been dropped from the squad after arriving late for training on Friday, while Mehmet Topal should be fit to play despite picking up a calf injury in training.

Apart from David Albelda and Aritz Aduriz, Unai Emery will have fully fit squad to choose from. Valencia are 3.20 (11/5) to win the game at Victor Chandler.
