High-flying Tottenham aim to make one step further towards the Europa League title, but Ligue 1 giants Lyon have reason to believe they will be the team to progress to the next stage.

After missing out on Champions League qualification despite placing in EPL top 4, Spurs are determined to make things right this season and make sure they return to Europe’s elite competition.

They are certainly on the right track at the moment, sitting four points clear of fifth-placed Arsenal, but after getting eliminated from domestic Cup competitions, Spurs are also looking to mount a serious title challenge in Europa League.

Tottenham narrowly missed out on a first place in their group, which is why they were pitted against such strong opponents, but the reality is the hosts have no reason to fear the French giants.
