Sporting looked to be on the verge of the Europa League semi-finals as they were leading 2-0 in the first leg, but Cleyton’s late goal gave Metalist a much-needed boost before the match in Kharkiv.

Metalist Kharkiv are another Ukrainian club run by a wealthy owner and they are giving their best to close the gap behind giants Dynamo Kiev and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Boasting a number of high-profile players from South America and several Ukrainian internationals, Metalist have been showing a lot of potential in Europe over the last few years and they now have a chance to qualify for Europa League semi-finals.

After winning their group with 14 points from 6 games, the Ukrainian side recorded an 8-1 aggregate win over Red Bull Salzburg before coming from two goals behind to beat Olympiakos to a place in the quarter-finals.

The late goal they scored against Sporting gave the team a huge boost before the return leg, and you should know that BetVictor is paying 2.10 (11/10) on home win.

Papa Gueye and Marco Torsiglieri are suspended after picking up their third yellow cards of the campaign, and that ould prove to be a problem as the two players are normally considered starting centre-backs.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Goryainov – Villarga, Berezovchuk, Pshenichnikh, Obradovic – Cleiton, Torres – Sosa, Blanco, Taison – Cristaldo.

After investing considerable amount of money in new players, Sporting Lisbon were always going to have a big role to play this season and the Lions made sure not to disappoint their fans.

While Sa Pinto’s side seem to have lost the title race with Porto, Benfica and Braga, the team have done really well in Europa League and I wouldn’t be surprised if they manage to go all the way.

The Lions produced quite a coup by eliminating free-spending Manchester City in the previous round, but they could only record a 2-1 victory in the first leg against Metalist.

Even so, the Portuguese side are now odds-on favourites to make it to the semi-finals, with 888sport paying 1.67 (2/3) on Sporting to qualify.

Daniel Carrico misses out through suspension, whereas Elias, Onyewu, Rodriguez, Pereirinha, Rinaudo and Jeffren are also unavailable.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Patricio – Pereira, Polga, Xandao, Insua – Izmailov, Schaars, Andre Santos – Mati Fernandez, Van Wolfswinkel, Capel.
