Bursaspor vs VojvodinaTurkish giants Bursaspor will have to show an improvement if they want to reach Europa League play-offs despite earning a 2-2 draw in the first leg.

Vojvodina, on the other hand, will be hoping to build on an excellent display in the first leg and try to pip their more illustrious opponents to a place in the next stage.

Bursaspor have been on a constant rise over the last few years, having even won their first ever Super Lig title in 2010.

The Green Crocodiles did well to achieve a fourth-place finish last term and have since seriously reinforced their squad.

Players like Sebastien Frey, Renato Civelli andTaye Taiwo all arrived this summer, but it is perfectly clear the star trio will need some time to adapt to the new surroundings.

Bursapor don’t seem to be ready for the start of the new season just yet, with some very disappointing results in pre-season followed by a poor showing in the 2-2 draw against Vojvodina.

Even if the Turkish giants were pretty fortunate to avoid defeat in Novi Sad by scoring in the dying moments of the match, they are 1.67 (2/3) with Stan James to make things right in the return leg.

Renato Civelli and Ibrahim Ozturk should recover from minor knocks, but Fernando Belluschi and Ozan Ipek are injury doubts.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Frey – Ozbayrakli, Ozturk, Civelli, Taiwo – Belluschi, Cinaz – Sestak, Batalla, Sanli – Pinto.

Over the last few years, Vojvodina have been closing the gap behind Serbia’s top sides, but they have yet to mount a serious title challenge in the domestic league.

Despite possessing some high quality players, the team were struggling to fulfill their potential over the years, but the arrival of talented coach Marko Nikolic changed everything.

Even if their domestic season wasn’t due to start for another month, Vojvodina enjoyed an excellent start to their European campaign, recording double wins over Hibernians and Honved to set up a clash with Bursaspor in the third qualifying round.

Marko Nikolic’s men then completely outclassed their more illustrious opponents and even recovered from going a goal down completely against the run of play to take a 2-1 lead.

Nevertheless, the late goal they conceded from a set-piece could end up costing the team dearly, but Vojvodina players are not prepared to give up just yet.

Having proved they are in much better shape than their opponents, the Serbian side can be backed at 4.75 (15/4) with 888sport to qualify.

While new signings Ivan Fatic and Stefan Denkovic are ineligible, talented full-back Bojan Nastic returns from suspension.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Delac – Vulicevic, Trajkovic, Djuric, Lekovic – Poletanovic, Radoja – Alivodic, Vranjes, Oumarou – Kaludjerovic.
