Saturday’s Premier League action concludes at Upton Park when West Ham United host Liverpool.

The Hammers twice came from behind to salvage a point at Hull City on Monday evening, and in doing so avoided what would have been a third league defeat in four games.

They currently sit in thirteenth place, just two points above the bottom three though they are only three points behind Southampton in fourth.

Joey O’Brien is doubtful with an ongoing knee issue, while Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan are definitely out though Matt Jarvis may recover from a thigh problem in time to be considered for selection.

Ecuador international Enner Valencia, who opened his West Ham account with a stunning strike last time out is widely available at 8.5 (13/2) to get the first goal of the game ahead of Carlton Cole, who is a 10.5 (19/2) chance with Bet Victor.

Sam Allardyce’s men are 5.0 (4/1) with Coral to take all three points, with Liverpool a 1.83 (5/6) shot with Bet Victor. The draw is priced at 3.85 (37/13) with 888 Sport.

The visitors are eighth place with six points following last week’s shock defeat at Aston Villa, but go into the game on the back of a victory in the opening Champions League fixture – a nervy 2-1 win over Bulgarian champions Ludogorets Razgrad.

Joe Allen and Jon Flanagan should be fit enough to feature at the weekend though Emre Can, Glen Johnson and Daniel Sturridge are all out, with the latter set to return next weekend.

Mario Balotelli, fresh from grabbing his first goal in a Red shirt, is a 5.5 (9/2) shot to open the scoring with Bet 365 with Raheem Sterling priced at 8.0 (7/1) with the same firm.

Brendan Rodgers’ men are unbeaten in their last four meetings against West Ham, winning last season’s home and away encounters 4-1 and 2-1 respectively.

With this in mind, you may want to take advantage of Sky Bet’s offer of 3.25 (9/4) for Liverpool to win with both teams scoring, while the same firm offer 1.73 (8/11) for there to be at least three goals in the game.
