Jermain-Defoe-120103-Celebrates-R300Sunday’s match at the Liberty Stadium sees Swansea City, without a win in seven top flight games take on a Tottenham Hotspur side yet to lose in the league under Tim Sherwood.

The hosts 2-0 defeat to champions Manchester United was their fourth in five Premier League matches, and left them just three points above fierce rivals Cardiff City in eighteenth place.

Manager Michael Laudrup looks set to be boosted by the return of Michel Vorm, Roland Lamah and Dwight Tiendalli, while Pablo Hernandez and Nathan Dyer may also return though Jonathan De Guzman is out with an ankle problem.

Top scorer Wilfried Bony is widely available at 7.5 (13/2) to open the scoring, with Jonjo Shelvey a 14.0 (13/1) chance with 888 Sport.

The home win is priced at 3.25 (9/4) with Bet 365, with Spurs 2.4 (7/5) with most firms. The draw is can easily be found at 3.4 (12/5).

The visitors currently sit in sixth place, though victory here would see them move above Everton and level on points with Liverpool, who occupy the final Champions League spot.

They have taken thirteen points from fifteen available since Tim Sherwood replace Andre Villas Boas in the hot seat, and recorded a season best third straight league win by beating Crystal Palace last time out.

Andros Townsend may feature after scoring for the under 21’s in midweek, while Sandro could also make his first appearance in over a month.

Roberto Soldado is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 7.0 (6/1) with Ladbrokes, while Emmanuel Adebayor is a 7.5 (13/2) shot with a variety of firms, as is the soon to be departed Jermaine Defoe.

Tottenham are unbeaten against Swansea since 1982, winning five of their last six meetings including the 1-0 win at White Hart Lane back in August.

Eight of the North London side’s twelve league victories this season have come without them conceding, and you can back another win to nil at 4.2 (16/5) with Coral here, while a repeat of that 1-0 scoreline is available at 9.0 (8/1) with Ladbrokes.
