Kyle Walker EnglandTottenham manager Tim Sherwood has revealed that Kyle Walker and Christian Eriksen are set to miss the Wednesday’s friendly between England and Denmark through injury.

Both players were named in their respective squads for the high-profile international friendly at Wembley, but everything suggests neither will take part in the game.

Spurs boss Tim Sherwood has suggested that Kyle Walker is unavailable for selection due to a hip injury that prevented him from taking part in weekend’s victory over Cardiff City.

“He (Kyle Walker) won’t be fit for England”, Sherwood confessed to the BBC.

“We’re just hoping to nurse him back to fitness for next week (against Chelsea), so we’ll see how that goes.”

Sherwood also went to confirm that Christian Eriksen was not yet ready to return from a back problem.

“Christian Eriksen won’t be ready for Denmark either,” the Spurs manager added.

England boss Roy Hodgson has named a 30-man squad for the Denmark game as he hopes to test as many players as possible before he makes a decision on the squad to represent the country at the 2014 World Cup.

Having lost their last two home friendlies against Chile and Germany, the Three Lions will be very motivated to return to winning ways and they have been made 1.67 (2/3) favourites to see off Denmark.
