Harry Redknapp takes charge of Queen’s Park Rangers for the first time as the Premier League’s bottom club travel to Sunderland.

The hosts go in to the game on the back of Saturday’s 4-2 defeat to high flying West Bromwich Albion, a result that left the Black Cats just two places and two points above the relegation zone.

Manager Martin O’Neil, who has this week denied rumours that he set to resign from his post, will be without captain Lee Cattermole following a recurrence of a knee injury, while defender John O’Shea will also miss out.

Stephane Sessegnon, who has scored in his last two appearances, and netted in both games against QPR last season is 8.0 (7/1) with a number of bookmakers to open the scoring on Tuesday evening, while top scorer Steven Fletcher is a 5.5 (9/2) shot with Stan James.

Sunderland go in to the game as favourites, with a number of firms offering a price of (5/4). QPR are as highly priced as 3.5 (5/2) with Bet Victor, whilst the draw is available at the same price with 188 Bet.

Despite opening the scoring at Old Trafford, QPR began life without Mark Hughes with a 3-1 defeat to table toppers Manchester United on Saturday.

The visitors could be boosted by the return of captain Park Ji Sung, who has recovered from a knee injury, while Jose Bosingwa may also feature after missing the weekend defeat with a virus.

Jamie Mackie, who scored the opener last time out, is a 13.0 (12/1) shot with Bet Victor to do so again while Djibril Cisse, who was sent off when the two sides last met, is best priced at 10.0 (9/1) with the same firm.

The corresponding fixture back in March ended in a 3-1 victory to the hosts, though they have one just once in front of their own fans since then; a 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic in September.

QPR have not kept a clean sheet on their travels for 23 games, so you might want to take advantage of the 1.3 (3/10) on offer from 888 Sport for them to concede once again.
