Stoke vs West Brom preview

After losing four of their last five league games, Stoke need a victory in order to remain at a safe distance from the relegation zone, with West Brom looking to end their own dismal run of results.

Following back to back defeats to Birmingham and Arsenal, the Potters sit just five points clear of the bottom three and they will be happy to return to Britannia Stadium, having won four of their last five games at home.

Tony Pulis faces certain selection problems as Matthew Etherington and Abdoulaye Faye are doubtful, while Mamadou Sidibe is sidelined with injury.

Seeing that Stoke have never lost to West Brom at the Britannia, you might want to consider backing the Potters at 1.95 (19/20) offered by Victor Chandler.

After winning just one of their last eleven games, West Brom finally slipped into the relegation zone and they are now desperate to return to safety.

The Baggies failed to beat relegation rivals West Ham and Wolves at home, meaning they now have to try and make amends by beating Stoke away.

The good news is that Scott Carson has recovered from illness and will be fit to play, but Jonas Olsson and Youssouf Mulumbu are doubtful for this clash.

West Brom are 4.50 (7/2) to win the game at Betfair, while they are 2.20 (6/5) to get relegated at Paddy Power.
