Stoke vs Man UtdStoke will be hoping to continue the good run of results when they welcome Manchester United to their Britannia Stadium, but it is the Red Devils that are seen as the favourites to go through having finally showed some improvement.

The Potters have been doing pretty well under new boss Mark Hughes, creating a five-point advantage over the bottom three in the Premier League, while also impressing in the Capital One Cup.

Stoke defeated Walsall, Tranmere and Birmingham City to reach the quarter-finals, but they clearly face a much tougher task against Manchester United.

The hosts are, nonetheless, full of confidence at the moment, having defeated Chelsea and shared spoils with Hull City in their last two fixtures.

Even so, Stoke City are no less than 4.75 (15/4) with bet365 to win the clash in regular time and make it to the next round.

Mark Hughes will have Jonathan Walters back from suspension, but Matthew Etherington and Robert Huth remain in the infirmary.

The Welshman is expected to make some changes to the starting line-up, with Thomas Sorensen, Erik Pieters and Jermaine Pennant among those expected to start.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Sorensen – Wilkinson, Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters – Palacios, N’Zonzi – Pennant, Ireland, Shea – Jones.

These past few weeks have been incredibly difficult for David Moyes and his players, but it appears the Red Devils are ready to turn things around.

The hard-fought victory over Shakhtar Donetsk was definitely a step in the right direction, but it was the impressive display in 3-0 triumph at Villa Park that suggested Manchester United should not be written off just yet.

It is clear that the team are slowly raising their form and no doubt the players will be extremely motivated to continue the promising run at Britannia.

And despite Stoke looking good at the moment, there is clearly value in odds of 1.90 (9/10) offered on away win.

David Moyes can be trusted to rest some of his regular starters, with Wilfried Zaha, Anderson and Alex Buttner all tipped to start.

Meanwhile, Robin van Persie, Michael Carrick, Javier Hernandez and Marouane Fellaini continue to miss out through injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-1-1): Lindegaard – Fabio, Jones, Evans, Buttner – Nani, Cleverley, Anderson, Zaha – Rooney – Welbeck.
