Sunday afternoon’s game at the Britannia Stadium sees struggling Stoke City host league leaders Manchester United, with the visitors looking to regain their fifteen point lead at the summit.

Tony Pulis’ side are in free fall. Last weekend’s defeat to Aston Villa was their ninth in their last twelve league games, and saw them slip to fifteenth place in the table; just three points above the relegation zone.

It doesn’t get any easier for the Potters, with four of their final six games against teams still in the relegation mix, as well as the visits of Tottenham Hotspur and the Champions elect.

The home side will hand late fitness tests to Matthew Etherington and Marc Wilson, whilst Glen Whealen is available after recovering from a back problem.

Top scorer Jonathan Walters is 12.0 (11/1) with Bet 365 to get the first goal of the game, with Peter Crouch an 11.0 (10/1) shot with Paddy Power.

Stoke are best priced at 7.0 (6/1) with William Hill, with United widely available at 1.62 (8/13). The draw is 4.1 (31/10) with Bet 365.

United’s defeat in the Manchester derby last Monday was their first in nineteen league games, though a maximum of ten points from their final seven matches will be enough to secure their twentieth league title.

Ashley Young will miss the game having injured his ankle last time out, though defensive trio Nemanja Vidic, Chirs Smalling and Jonny Evans are all pushing for recalls along with Paul Scholes who hasn’t featured since the FA Cup fourth round victory over Fulham at the end of January.

Robin Van Perise is favourite to open the scoring at a best price of 5.0 (4/1) with Coral despite not scoring in his last ten club outings, with Wayne Rooney available at 5.5 (9/2) with most firms.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s men, who have never lost to Stoke in nine Premier League meetings, won the reverse fixture at Old Trafford back in October with Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Robin Van Persie all on target in the 4-2 victory.

Coral offer a price of 10.0 (9/1) for the table toppers to score four or more this time around.
