Sunday afternoon’s sole Premier League fixture sees Southampton welcome West Ham United to St Mary’s, with both sides looking to bounce back from narrow defeats last time out.

The host’s manager Mauricio Pochettino has no fresh injury concerns, so he is likely to continue with the front pairing of record signing Dani Osvaldo and England’s man of the moment Rickie Lambert.

The former Bristol Rovers, Stockport County and Macclesfield Town man scored his second international goal, and provided two assists last Friday as Roy Hodgson’s men beat Moldova 4-0, before playing the full ninety minutes in the 0-0 draw with Ukraine four days later.

He is 6.5 (11/2) with William Hill to open the scoring, with Osvaldo available at the same price with the same firm, while Adam Lallana is priced at an intriguing 11.0 (10/1).

The home side are odds on to take all three points at 1.87 (20/23) with Stan James, who also give the best odds of 3.6 (13/5) for the draw while Bet Victor offer a generous 5.0 (4/1) for the away win.

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce was dealt a blow earlier this week, with the news that Andy Carroll will be side-lined until the New Year.

New signing Mladen Petric is not yet match fit, while Joe Cole, Stewart Downing and George McCartney are all missing through injury.

Kevin Nolan is 13.0 (12/1) with William Hill to get the first goal of the game, as is Modibo Maiga while Mark Noble is a 23.0 (22/1) chance with the same firm.

The last two Premier League meetings between the sides on the South Coast have ended 1-1, and you can back a repeat of that score-line at 7.5 (13/2) with William Hill.

Alternatively, as nine of the past ten meetings have involved two or fewer goals, you may want to take advantage of the 1.8 (4/5) offered by Bet Victor for that to be the case this time around.

Finally, of the six league games played between the sides so far this season, the half time score has been 0-0 on four occasions. William Hill have odds of 2.88 (15/8) for another goalless first forty-five minutes this weekend.
