Sergio Aguero

The weekend’s Premier League action concludes at the Etihad Stadium where Manchester City play Tottenham Hotspur.

The hosts lost for the first time in eight last time out after being humbled by league leaders Leicester City and they will be desperate to return to winning ways here with their opponents also above them in the table.

Captain Vincent Kompany could be set for a return to action after recovering from a long-standing calf problem with David Sivla is also fit.

However, Fabian Delph is out along with Bacary Sagna, Eliaquim Mangala, Jesus Navas, Wilfried Bony, Kevin De Bruyne and Samir Nasri.

Sergio Aguero is favourite to get the first goal of the game at the widely available price of 4.5 (7/2) ahead of Silva who is a 10.0 (9/1) chance with Betfair.

The home win is 2.1 (11/10) with a number of firms, with the visitors as highly priced as the 3.8 (14/5) on offer from several bookmakers. The draw is a 3.75 (11/4) shot with Bet 365.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are on a run of six straight wins, and their victory over Watford last time saw them leapfrog City into second place.

Another win here could see them close the gap on first place, depending on the result between Leicester and Arsenal earlier in the day.

Dele Alli is expected to be recalled to the starting line-up after only making the substitutes bench last weekend though Jan Vertonghen remains absent so Kevin Wimmer is expected to deputise once again.

Top scorer Harry Kane is priced at 5.5 (9/2) to open the scoring while Alli is an 11.0 (10/1) chance with Bet 365.

The North Londoners ran out 4-1 winners when the sides met at White Hart Lane back in September and that was the fifth time in six clashes where there have been at least four goals in the game.

You may be tempted to back over 3.5 this time around at 3.0 (2/1) with William Hill while you can bet on both teams to score at 1.62 (8/13) with a number of firms.
