Louis van GaalNetherlands boss Louis van Gaal has all but confirmed he is in the running to take over the reigns at White Hart Lane amidst speculations linking him with a vacant managerial position in North London.

Tim Sherwood has been appointed on interim basis following the dismissal of Andre Villas-Boas, and the self-proclaimed Arsenal fan remains 2.62 (13/8) favourite to take over the job on permanent basis.

However, current Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal is also in the mix and he does seem to be interested in the job.

“I’ll never comment on offers but everyone who knows me, knows that I won’t do a job share”, Van Gaal told NOS.

“I’ve always said I want to work in the Premier League eventually, so there’s a chance. There are times a deal is announced and there are times it’s in preparation. At that time there’s no time for media.”

The Dutch tactician is currently priced at 11.00 (10/1), with Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle available at 7.00 (6/1).
