All eyes will be on Anfield tomorrow afternoon, when bitter rivals Liverpool and Manchester United meet in the FA Cup 4th round.

Having just made it to the Carling Cup final, the Reds are in optimistic mood ahead of the derby game, although their recent Premier League struggles are a cause for concern.

Liverpool slipped to 7th place in the standings after the disappointing defeat to relegation-threatened Bolton, and they are now no less than six points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Kenny Dalglish is hoping the Carling Cup success will help the team kick-start their season, but it is the victory over Manchester United that would be a huge boost for the Reds.

However, even with that in mind, odds of 2.70 (17/10) offered at Stan James on home win do not represent a real value for money.

With Luis Suarez suspended and Andy Carroll completely out of form, it was Craig Bellamy who stepped up the plate, scoring against both Bolton and Manchester City. The Welshman is now 3.00 (2/1) with Stan James to score in his third consecutive game.

Luis Suarez and Lucas continue to miss out, whereas Jay Spearing is doubtful through injury. Kenny Dalglish is expected to rest several starters in this match.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Reina – Kelly, Carragher, Coates, Enrique – Gerrard, Adam – Kuyt, Henderson, Maxi – Carroll.

Shock exits from the Champions League and Carling Cup allowed Manchester United to fully focus on the other two major competitions, with the 3:2 victory over Manchester City at the start of their FA Cup campaign proving that Red Devils really want to win this trophy.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s side recovered well from back to back defeats to Blackburn and Newcastle, going on to win next three games in all competitions.

The 2:1 victory at the Emirates showed that United are not giving up on the Premier League title, and they look ready to push City all the way.

The Red Devils are now back to their best and enter this game full of confidence, so away win looks a good bet here, especially at odds of 2.80 (9/5) offered by William Hill.

Phil Jones is a doubt with an ankle problem, whereas Rio Ferdinand, Nani and Michael Carrick are also carrying knocks.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-1-1): Lindegaard – Rafael, Smalling, Ferdinand, Evra – Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Nani – Rooney – Berbatov.
