The weekend’s Premier League action kicks off at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime when fourth place Liverpool take on league leaders Arsenal.

The hosts, who are unbeaten in seven, will be keen to return to winning ways after dropping two points in their quest for a top four finish at West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

Manager Brendan Rodgers remains without a number of key defenders, with Mamadou Sakho, Jose Enrique, Daniel Agger and Glen Johnson all side-lined, while midfielder Lucas is also still out.

Top scorer Luis Suarez is widely available at 5.0 (4/1) to get the first goal of the game, ahead of strike partner Daniel Sturridge, who is 7.0 (6/1) with Bet Victor having scored in each of the Reds last five games.

Liverpool are favourites for the victory at 2.3 (13/10) with Bet Victor, with Arsenal generously priced at 3.45 (27/11) with 888 Sport. The draw is 3.6 (13/5) with a variety of firms.

With second place Manchester City and third place Chelsea not playing until later in the day, Arsene Wenger’s men have the chance to open up a five point lead at the summit.

Jack Wilshere could return to the Gunners starting line-up after missing the last two matches with an ankle problem, while Mikel Arteta is fit despite limping of in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace last time out.

Theo Walcott, Abou Diaby, Aaron Ramsey, Thomas Vermaelen and Yaya Sanogo are all still injured and out of contention, alongside Mathieu Flamini, who serves the second game of a four-match suspension.

Olivier Giroud is 8.5 (15/2) to open the scoring with Bet Victor, with Lukas Podolski a 9.5 (17/2) chance with the same firm.

The North London side ran out 2-0 winners when the sides met at the Emirates Stadium back in November, while last season’s corresponding fixture ended in the same scoreline.

In fact, seven of the Gunners’ seventeen league victories this season have finished, to paraphrase the old cliché, two-nil to the Arsenal, so you may be tempted to take advantage of Bet Victor’s offer of 13.0 (12/1) for that outcome this time around.
