Premier League

Saturday’s Premier League action kicks off at the King Power Stadium where Leicester City take on leaders Liverpool.

The hosts are in fine form, following back-to-back league wins with a 4-0 demolition of Fleetwood Town in the third round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening.

Remarkably, victory here would see them move level on points with their opponents though of course it is still very early on in the campaign.

Claude Puel will once again be without star striker Jamie Vardy, who serves the final game of a three- match suspension while Matty James and summer signing Calgar Soyuncu are not in contention for selection.

Kelechi Iheanacho, who was on the scoresheet midweek is priced at 10.0 (9/1) to get the first goal of the game with James Maddison a 13.0 (12/1) chance with Sky Bet.

The home win is as highly priced as the 7.75 (27/4) on offer from Unibet with the visitors widely available at 1.44 (4/9). The draw is 5.0 (4/1) with a variety of firms.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are yet to concede this season after racking up their third straight win to nil last weekend.
It has been twenty-eight years since the Merseyside club have started a campaign with four straight wins, with that happening the season after they last won the title.

Joe Gomez is expected to start alongside Virgil van Dijk once again with Dejan Lovren not yet ready for a first appearance of the season as he continues to work his way back to fitness following a pelvic problem.

Mo Salah is 4.0 (3/1) to open the scoring with Sky Bet with Sadio Mane a 6.0 (5/1) with several bookmakers.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended in a 3-2 away victory, with Liverpool also triumphing in their clash at Anfield to the tune of a 2-1 win.

You can back both teams to score this time around at 1.83 (5/6) while a Liverpool win not to nil is priced at 3.0 (2/1).

Alternatively, you can bet on there being three or more goals in the game, as there has been in five of the last six meetings between the sides at 1.67 (4/6).
