With less than a month until the new Premier League season gets underway, the majority of managers have already added more firepower to their squad by bringing in new strikers.

Having lost Mario Balotelli in January and Carlos Tevez last month, last season’s runners up, Manchester City have bought in two big name strikers as they look to wrestle the title back off of their neighbours.

Spain international Alvaro Negredo came fourth in the La Liga top scorers chart last season with 25 goals in 36 games for Sevillia, and can be backed at 3.5 (5/2) to get at least 17 in his debut season in the Premier League.

City’s other new recruit upfront, Stevan Jovetic, is available at the same price to hit 17 or more league goals next term having scored 27 league goals over the last two Serie A campaigns.

Elsewhere in England’s top flight, new Everton manager Roberto Martinez will be hoping that Arouna Kone can improve on his eleven league goals that he scored under him at Wigan Athletic last season.

Bet Victor offer odds of 4.0 (3/1) for the Ivory Coast international to score 14 league or more goals, as he did in the 2011/12 campaign for Levante in La Liga.

Andy Carroll is 3.0 (2/1) to rack up at least 13 league goals having made his move from West Ham United permanent, while Nicolas Anelka, who has returned to the Premier League with West Bromwich Albion, is priced at 8.0 (7/1) to reach at least 14.

Swansea City’s Wilfred Bony is 3.5 (5/2) to hit the fifteen mark for the Welsh side, while former Swans striker Danny Graham, who has agreed a season-long loan deal with Hull City, is 1.83 (5/6) with Bet 365 for him to get seven or more league goals.

Norwich City have brought in Dutch international Ricky Van Wolfswinkel to get the goals they so lacked last season, and the 24 year old in 5.0 (4/1) to give a league goals return of 15 or more.

Elsewhere, Sunderland have recruited US international Jozy Altidore, and Crystal Palace have brought in Dwight Gayle, as well as offering veteran forward Kevin Phillips a one year deal.

Danish duo Nicklas Helenius and Andreas Cornelius have joined Aston Villa and Cardiff City respectively, while Spanish forward Iago Aspas have moved to Liverpool, Arsenal have added France under 20 striker Yaya Sanogo and Germany international Andre Schurrle has gone to Chelsea.

Fulham, Manchester United, Stoke City, Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton and Newcastle United are yet to bring in a new striker, with the latter the only side not to make any key signings as of yet, but with five weeks until the close of the transfer window, plenty more new additions are expected to be made.
