Sunday afternoon’s game at Stamford Bridge sees Chelsea, looking to strengthen their grip on a top four position host a Swansea City side already looking ahead to a debut season in European competition next term.

The Blues go in to the game on the back of Thursday evening’s last gasp victory over FC Basel in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final.

Interim manager Rafael Benitez is once again expected to rotate his squad for the game; the clubs ninth of the month.

Last weekend’s goalless draw with Southampton was the fifth without victory for Michael Laudrop’s men, who are unbeaten in three meetings with Chelsea this season.

Pablo Hernandez’s late equaliser denied the European Champions all three points in the reverse fixture at the Liberty Stadium back in November, though with Chelsea so desperate for the points, and the Swans so out of form, a home win looks highly likely.
