The clash at Stamford Bridge could easily decide the outcome of the top 4 race for both sides, so there is no doubt we will see an intense encounter.

Chelsea are currently two points behind City, but with a game in hand, meaning that a victory in this match would give them the upper hand over the rivals.

The Blues have raised their form lately even though a stalemate against Kopenhagen ended their three-match winning run and Chelsea are 1.73 (8/11) to win the game at Paddy Power.

Carlo Ancelotti has no fresh injury worries, while Alex and Benayoun are close to making their return, but the pair is unlikely to be in contention for this match.

Manchester City have been in pretty poor form of late, even though their results would suggest otherwise and they will have to produce something special to win this game.

The Citizens were eliminated from the Europa League after losing to Dynamo Kiev 2:1 on aggregate, although they made it to the FA Cup semis, where they will entertain local rivals United.

Roberto Mancini is likely to drop Mario Balotelli from the starting line-up after the forward received a stupid red card against Dynamo, but the good news is that Adam Johnson and James Milner have returned into action.

Pablo Zabaleta has been granted a compassionate leave, while Given and Kolo Toure remain unavailable.

City have failed to win any of their last eight away games and they are 6.00 (5/1) at Victor Chandler to finally end that run.
