Saturday afternoon’s game at the Emirates sees league leaders Arsenal host a Norwich City side currently sitting in the bottom three of the division.

The hosts have won five of their opening seven league games this season, and their opening day defeat to Aston Villa was their only loss in seventeen top flight encounters.

Record signing Mesut Ozil should be available despite being substituted with a knee problem during Germany’s 5-3 win over Sweden on Tuesday evening, while Santi Cazorla and Bacary Sagna are both pushing for recalls after recovering from their respective knocks.

Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Tomas Rosicky, Yaya Sanogo, Abou Diaby and Lukas Podolski all remain on the side-lines.

Olivier Giroud is favourite to open the scoring at 5.0 (4/1) with Bet 365 having bagged a brace for France against Australia on Friday evening while Aaron Ramsey, who netted a late equaliser for Wales against Belgium midweek is a 8.0 (7/1) shot with Bet Victor.

The home win is priced at 1.3 (3/10) with a variety of firms, with Norwich as highly priced as the 12.0 (11/1) on offer from Bet 365, who offer 6.0 (5/1) for the draw.

Chris Hughton’s men have lost three of their last four league games; form which has seen them fall into the relegation zone though victory here could see them rise up to mid-table depending on other results.

Winger Anthony Pilkington has a hamstring problem that forced him to withdraw from international duty with the Republic of Ireland, but his manager is hopeful that he will be fit in time to feature.

Ricky Van Wolfswinkel is 14.0 (13/1) to get the first goal of the game with Bet Victor, ahead of fellow strikers Johan Elmander and Gary Hooper, who are both available at 18.0 (17/1) with the same firm.

The Canaries have not won at Arsenal since the opening day of the inaugural Premier League season in 1992, losing on three of their last five visits.

Arsene Wenger’s men have kept just one clean sheet in the league this season, so you may be tempted to back both teams to score at 2.05 (21/20).
