Bayern Munich have quickly made moves to replace Hansi Flick having reportedly agreed terms with RB Leipzig Head Coach Julian Nagelsmann.

According to Sky in Germany, the reigning Bundesliga champions made contact with his current employers on Sunday and agreed terms.

However, the only stumbling block over a potential deal could be the amount of compensation that Leipzig are set to demand with €25m being mooted, which would be a world record amount for a manager.

Should Bayern agree to pay that fee and bring him to the Allianz Arena, they would certainly be getting one of the most promising managers in Europe.

The now 33-year-old started his career at Hoffenheim, leading the club from the depths of the Bundesliga to the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history.

That achievement triggered the attentions of RB Leipzig where Nagelsmann has been in charge since June 2019.

In his time in Leipzig, he has masterminded a couple of challenges for the Bundesliga crown, whilst also leading the club to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in the 2019/20 campaign.

Whilst it appears he is close to being appointed at Leipzig, Nagelsmann has also been linked with the managerial vacancy at Tottenham Hotspur. He can still be backed at a price of 15/2 with Betfair to take the reins at the North London club.
