Roman Weidenfeller Borussia DortmundBorussia go into the extremely important Champions League clash on the back of a 3-0 defeat to bitter rivals Bayern Munich, but they still have enough quality and experience to turn things around.

Their opponents are in a similar position following back to back defeats to Juventus and Parma, meaning the team that shows the better response to their latest setbacks is likely to emerge victorious in the end.

Jurgen Klopp probably cannot remember the last time his side lost three games in a row, and BVB now need to ensure they return to winning ways as quickly as possible.

The Millionaires were extremely unfortunate to have two key defenders pick up injuries on international duty, which in turn forced the boss to field an experimental back four against mighty Bayern Munich.

And while Dortmund produced a decent attacking performance at the weekend, their makeshift defence just could not prevent the Bavarians from scoring.

The situation is even more serious ahead of the Napoli clash given that new signing Manuel Friedrich is ineligible, meaning both teams to score bet should be considered at 1.62 (5/8).

Meanwhile, the Millionaires are 1.67 (2/3) to overcome a serious defensive crisis and defeat Napoli at Signal-Iduna Park.

Ilkay Gundogan, Mats Hummels, Neven Subotic and Marcel Schmelzer remain sidelined, whereas Manuel Friedrich is ineligible.

Full-back Lukas Piszczek has returned into action following a six-month spell on the sidelines, but he is not fit enough to start.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller – Grosskreutz, Papastathopoulos, Kehl, Durm – Bender, Sahin – Blaszczykowski, Mkhitaryan, Reus – Lewandowski.

Napoli enjoyed a pretty impressive start to the season on the back of the heavy summer recruitment, but the Azzurri have began to struggle of late.

Their five-match winning run came to an abrupt end as the team suffered a 3-0 defeat to title rivals Juventus ahead of the international break that allowed the Azzurri to regroup before the home match against Parma.

However, another disappointing performance resulted in a 1-0 defeat to I Ducali, leaving Napoli six points behind leaders Juventus.

There were even more bad news for Rafael Benitez seeing as how key midfielder Marek Hamsik picked up a foot injury and has in turn been ruled out of the Dortmund clash.

Considering the circumstances, the Azzurri would gladly settle for one point from Signal-Iduna Park, so bear in mind draw pays 4.33 (10/3).

The visitors will also be without Camilo Zuniga and Giandomenico Mesto, and they are not expected to return before the New Year.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Reina – Maggio, Albiol, Britos, Armero – Behrami, Inler – Callejon, Mertens, Insigne – Higuain.
